Who are your biggest musical influences?
My biggest musical influences are all of the powerful women who are/were unapologetically themselves Beyonce, Whitney Houston, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, etc.
Do you have any hidden talents?
My hidden talent is that I learned how to yodel right before going to Switzerland, just so that I could say that I had yodeled in the swiss alps.
Does your family have any special traditions?
My family has many traditions, one of my favorites being that every summer we go on a big trip. These trips have taken us to all 50 states, and multiple countries.
What is your favorite Longhorn Singers tradition?
My favorite Longhorn Singers tradition is spending an entire semester loving on the NUGIS. It is such a humbling experience, and incredible refreshing reminder every semester to see new faces that are excited to sing with us. It reminds me why I wanted to be in the group and what its all about.
Welcome to the official Longhorn Singers blog! Here, you can get to know the Singers better, as well as find more information about what we're doing in rehearsals, how the show is coming along, when we are selling tickets, and details about performances each semester! Updates will occur periodically throughout the year, so stay tuned!
